Over the years, the human body goes through a natural aging process that causes functional and structural changes, reducing vitality and enhancing the appearance of diseases, being common alteration of the physical abilities .

The aging process is accompanied by successive changes in organs and physiological systems, like changes in muscle composition, bone mass, and cardiorespiratory capacity, which may cause impairment in the performance of various tasks, including the simplest day to day activities.
As people get older, they become less active, and therefore, there is a loss in functional capacity and a decrease in the physical activity, resulting in the emergence of diseases that helps deteriorate the aging process. The most important benefit of exercise is the increase from 6 to 10 years in life expectancy adjusted for the quality of life.
Aging can cause the decline of physical fitness and functional capacity,getting worse with a sedentary lifestyle.
Performing physical activity provides numerous health benefits to the elders, however in necessary a special conduct and care when performing these exercise.
