The Senior Citizen Card issued by the Social Welfare Department provides a generally recognized proof of age to elders so as to facilitate their access to concessions, discounts or priority services offered by Government departments, public companies, private and commercial establishments.
Many vendors have received authorizations from government to issue National Senior citizen I.D card.

A Senior Citizen Identity Card in Delhi. The Government of India issued facilities for Indian citizens. To provide Senior citizen card you must be equal to or more than 60 years old. By this certificate, you can avail many facilities such as discounts in Railways, Flights and other several benefits from the government.

EligibIlity Criteria:

You must be the resident of Delhi Capital.
Your Age must be equal to or more than 60.
If you are residing alone or with a spouse then you are eligible.

How to Apply

You have to apply for Senior Citizen Identity Card by filling up an Online Senior Citizen Form: http://www.delhipolice.nic.in/seniorcitizen/ind

click on online registration

Then you will be sent to further page

Enter your Mobile No & Date of Birth and fill further details after clicking on submit button

Then Submit your application, and check for further information
You will get senior citizen identity card once your application is approved and documents verified
